I cannot wait for baseball season. Here is my list of my top Tigers players 20-16:
20. Stephen Lombardozzi- The new utility guy for the Tigers. Can’t wait to watch him this season. For those who don’t know, we got him and Krol in a trade for Fister. Lombardozzi has a pretty decent batting average and he is a great utility infielder and can play the corners really well.
19. Rajai Davis- Davis is my pick to replace Dirks with Andy being injured for a few months. In spring training, he has the most stolen bases on the team and he has the 5th highest batting average for outfielders. Rajai in the outfield with Hunter and Jackson gives the Tigers a very fast outfield that can cover a lot of ground.
18. Ian Krol- Krol is only 22 but I absolutely love his stuff. Last year he pitched about 27 innings and had a 3.79 ERA. So far this year in spring training he has pitched 4 innings, has 5 strikeouts and held opponents to a .077. I think he will be the dominant left-handed pitcher the Tigers will need to pitch in the 7th/8th inning this season.
17. Al Alburquerque- Please just give me good Al-Al this season. He might be one of my favorite players on the Tigers but he needs to be more consistent. With Al you either get the good version and he strikes out the side or you get bad Al and he gives up a few runs in the inning. Loved this in the playoffs a few years back.

16. Andy Dirks- Really sucks that Dirks is injured for the first few months of the season. He wasn’t going to play every day but when Dirks gets hot he is pretty good and can bat over .300 for an extended period of time. To add to that he has a decent arm in the outfield, good speed in the outfield and good speed on the bases. Sidenote: which one is Andy Dirks and which one is Jean Claude Van Damme
